This week is a busy one! Lots of games and team events. I have also listed flight/tournament info below for the MN trip and for anyone who ordered Red Jerseys or Puffy Coats, please check my lists below to make sure we have the correct info for yours.

*JV will be released at 2:00pm. You do not need to call your student in. The school will send an email to all the other schools to release your player. They will need to get a ride to and from the game though.
**Varsity will be released at 12:30pm.
***The Koch’s address is: 11662 W. 39th Place, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. The boys are planning to do a gift exchange that evening with the team so please make sure they bring a gift. This is player run so if you have questions on it, please have your player reach out on HUDL. This is for both Varsity and JV.
****Bus will pick up Varsity at DR at 6:30pm and take them to South Sub. They will return to DR after the game.
*****Bus will pick up Varsity at DR at 3:30pm and take them to Family Sports. They will return to DR after the game.
******Bus will pick up the JV team at DR at 5:00pm to take them to the Ice Ranch. They will return to DR after the game.
WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA
DR Hockey will be participating in Wreaths Across America on 12.17.22 at 10:00am. This is for both Varsity and JV. Parents are welcome to attend as well. Please have your player wear his military night jersey (from either last year or this year) if they have one. If they don’t have one, please have them wear a DR Jersey. We will plan to meet near the stage again this year. Coach is planning to go early to secure some wreaths so we will send out a message on HUDL with exact location the morning of. Plan to arrive early to park and walk. It can be a little crazy.

RED JERSEYS
Below is a list of everyone who has ordered a red jersey. Please let me know before tomorrow if you need to change anything. Coach will be placing the order tomorrow. You only have to order one if you are new to DR Hockey and want a jersey to keep or if you want a different number. Last year we did wear these for a few games.
PUFFY COATS
Below is a list of everyone who ordered a puffy coat. Coach is also placing this order tomorrow so we can get them back before Minnesota. These are the same coats that the Coaches wear to games with the DR Logo on them. Cost is $94. Please let me know before tomorrow if there are any changes on this as well:
SNAP RAISE FUNDRAISER:
PLEASE make sure you or your player get signed up for Snap Raise. This is a simple way to raise funds for the team and lower the costs for us parents. You can add emails of anyone who would be interested in supporting our team…grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, The campaign will go live soon. TEAM DINNERS
Just a reminder to PLEASE sign up for a team dinner. It is a really good way for the team to bond and it doesn’t have to be expensive, we just need people willing to coordinate one.

STREAMING GAMES
To help all the parents who want to watch games that are not being streamed by NSPN,, the Wilds have set up a live stream that will be on for all varsity games and as many JV games as Justin can make it to (or if someone would like to volunteer for games he can’t make it to, please let us now). If you have not used Season Cast, below is the link. All you need to do is either download the app to watch on your phone or you can use the website to watch on your laptop or smart tv at home. When you search for your team to add it will be Dakota Ridge Hockey. Justin will be adding the schedule for the games that will be streamed for everyone also. If you have any questions you can get with Justin (Tanner Wild’s dad) as he is the one running the show and he can get you set up if needed.

MINNESOTA TOURNAMENT
Here is all the info on the Minnesota tournament for those of you who are going. Coach is flying out on Thursday night for anyone who wants to fly with him, We will not have the Charter bus for that evening though so everyone who takes that flight will be responsible to get to the hotel on your own. They are on SW Flight 2270 which leaves Denver at 5:35pm. Below is the itinerary for the rest of us. It is the same flights we took last year and there will be a charter bus to take everyone from the airport to the hotel and to all the games.
There will be an additional cost to parents for tournament fees and the charter bus depending on how fundraising goes. So far, we only have 11 players signed up so please have your player sign up on Snap Raise ASAP!

A FEW THINGS I NEED FROM YOU IF YOUR PLAYER IS ATTENDING THIS TRIP:
1) Send me your player’s USA Hockey number ASAP so I can make sure they are on our official USA Hockey Roster.
2) Send me your players t-shirt size.
3) Let me know if your player is traveling alone and if they are heading out with Coach or with the rest of the group so we can make sure they are taken care of.
4) Print and fill out the attached form and get it back to wither Margret or I at one of the many events this week. These forms have to go to the school to get the trip approved.
