Hope everyone had a blast at pond hockey! Loved the pics! Here is what we have going on this week.
THIS WEEK’S SCHEDULE
Monday, January 23rd @ 1:45pm – Varsity vs Chatfield at The Edge (Home) *
Tuesday, January 24th @ 5:30pm – Weights with Coach Cody at DR
Wednesday, January 25th @ 3:45pm – Practice at the Edge
Friday, January 27th @ 8:15pm – Varsity vs Mountain Vista at South Suburban (Away) **
Saturday, January 28th @ 5:15 pm Varsity vs. Standley Lake at The Ice Center at Promenade – Blue Rink (Away) ***
* All players will be excused from school for the game at 12:00pm.
** Bus will pick the players up at DR and at 6:45pm and take them to South Suburban. They will return to DR after the game.
*** Bus will pick players up at 3:15pm and take them to the Ice Center at Promenade. They will return to DR after the game.
VOLUNTEERS
We still need someone to sign up for scoring for tomorrow’s game. Thank you to Gail for helping with the front desk and Brian Spence, Jeff Hampton and Dina Segal for volunteering for the other spots. We truly appreciate it. We can’t run a game without our volunteers! :
TEAM DINNERS
If anyone is willing to host or coordinate a team dinner, it would be greatly appreciated. It is a good way for the boys to bond and it doesn’t have to be anything expensive. You can reserve the cafeteria at the school and coordinate a potluck with other families or do something easy like Costco pizza’s. SENIORS AND SENIOR PARENTS
Senior night is on 2/3. We need to get all senior spotlights turned in ASAP. Margret is posting a senior a day leading up to the Senior night game. Please make sure your senior has turned theirs in.
ALSO – We need to get 20-30 of your favorite pictures of your player over the years. It does not have to be only with DR (although please make sure a few are). They can be any you like of them playing hockey or with hockey buddies. Please send these to me by THIS WEDNESDAY along with a senior pic and a baby pic. You can email them or give me a USB Drive at tomorrow’s game. Please label the email or drive with your players name (make sure it is listed how you want it on the print….nickname or full name, spelling, etc.) and their jersey number.
If I don’t get your pics, I will not be able to order your senior’s gift in time (they take awhile to create and we have to get the prints shipped to us) so please make sure to send these to me no later than Wednesday. I only have pictures for 3 seniors so far.
